Spend a semester studying at one of Europe’s most historic institutions in the heart of a city that has shaped centuries of European thought. Explore the humanities through thoughtfully designed courses at Charles University, developed in collaboration with WorldStrides exclusively for our students.

Program highlights

  • Choose from courses in European history, art and architecture, cinema, business, political science, Czech language, and more

  • Begin the program with a two-week, intensive Czech language course, giving you a foundation to engage more deeply with your surroundings

  • All other courses are taught in English by Charles University faculty in small classes composed of fellow international students

  • Pair up with a local Czech student in the Buddy Program, helping you get oriented at Charles University and learn your way around Prague

  • Explore Prague’s enchanting streets between classes and get to know surrounding cities through trips to the storybook town of Ceský Krumlov and the UNESCO-listed town of Kutná Hora
